Where is the best place to buy canvas bags for shopping?

I have read many people now take canvas bags with them for shopping. Where is a good place to buy them? And a cheap place. Thanks

1. the dollar store.. where else?? they have many and the best part, they are only a dollar!! try goodwill and those types of stores as well
2. I make my shopping bags out of expired clothing...jeans with holy knees.
3. Two very good places are Trader Joe's and IKEA. IKEA has a 'Big Blue Bag' which lives up to its name (it's big and blue!) and costs less than $1, though it's not canvas (more like tarp material). Trader Joe's has a number of options. They have a regular canvas bag for $1 and an insulated bag to keep your groceries cold for around $3, as I recall. I also noticed canvas bags at Safeway for $1 the other day.
