what kind of adhesive do I use to make the "faux leather" look on my wall with torn brown paper bags?

I've seen this technigue done on wallls and know the process used but not the specifics. I don't have it in any of my books and don't know anyone whose done it around here to ask.

1. Use Sherwin Williams VOV (Vinyl over Vinyl). If you are going to seal it. Otherwise the sealant will react with most any other adhesive such as glue and will cause the glue to bubble and or run. Even if you're not going to seal it, VOV is easier to work with and requires no mixing or watering down.
2. Just use regular powder wallpaper paste. Anything else will make removal almost impossible. Wallpaper paste dissolves in water.
3. Use wallpaper glue.
