Marketing ideas for a drawstring bag?

my business class is selling drawstring bags and i was looking for some creative ideas to get the word out and advertise. thanks a lot! s.

1. My boss patented a fast dry towel a while back. It is very novel, it dries much faster than regular towels, It has Silver in the fiber, which kills bacteria, so it never smells musty. Many other features. No one knew about the product, and she was a small business owner at the time. She contacted influential athletes to try the towel, they loved it. She contacted magazine editors to get independent gear reviews. The towel is wonderful so they printed dozens of reviews at no cost. The point I am making is that word of mouth works amazingly well, and the internet is a form of that word of mouth. Viral marketing, a friend tells a friend but it's seen all over the world. We ask every customer how they heard about the towels, and we also ask them to tell their friends if they like it (they all do!) The business thrives. If you have a good little product, ask a local newspaper to do an article about your class. Go to a few clubs where women congregate and ask if they will sell a few for you at their front counter (places like gyms, Curves, etc) Ask if local companies will print about it in free newsletters. etc.The worst thing that can happen is that someone will say no, but you haven't lost anything.
