Something i dont understand about movies why do they always show a lady carring two paper bags that is not?

enough for the week especially when you have to buy laundry detergent and rolls of toilet paper how many things do you notice in movies that dosnt make secnce two grocery bags is not enoigh for food

3. What makes you think those women were shopping for the entire week? Maybe they just needed to pick up a few items for dinner that night.
4. It's because if you notice, she is always JUST about to meet a man, either an old friend she hasn't seen in years, or a completely new man. In either case, they will end up in her apartment where she will cook the evening meal for them. The two bags only ever hold enough for that particular meal. This means that the next morning, they get to go out shopping at the local market for breakfast together. This is always the next scene in the movie afterwards.
5. That is why they go to the store every day, especially those who live in the city.
6. Damn straight and I'm glad someone else noticed this horrific misnomar. Are you an important person that can do something about this?
7. Well, maybe that person shops for home items once a month, and food items once a week. That would explain only 2 bags, would it not? All in all, I will tell you what I tell my friends....IT'S JUST A STUPID MOVIE.
8. Usually I see that scene in a big city and she is walking into a high rise...if I lived in a "walk up" I'd make sure I only bought a bag or two at a time...in that way it makes sense to me.
