When you go shopping and you see people with the paper/cardboard bags from the shops, how do they get them do you have to ask for them insted of the plastic ones, if so what do you ask for or do you have to spend so much money before they give you one, (I know you can't buy a tiny thing and they will give you a large bag).

Luminaries: is there a tool for cutting designs into the paper bags? I am sick of making such a colosal mess dumping the confetti sized shreds into the paper bags (the kind I get my groceries in at the grocery store).
